As a Photoshop intermediate user I created this digital poster as a call to action for aspiring authors, in a high school setting to join a creative writing workshop. To design this 33 in x 33 in poster, I used Photoshop to edit images I was able to use from my JMU StoryBlocks subscription.  I started with a notebook paper styled background image.  I layered in and edited the other images using the quick selection tool and then masked layers to extract only the parts of images I wanted to use or be seen. I used two different fonts for the text to create the content portion of the poster.  I also added I a QR code for quick registration/sign-up access. These Photoshop features and techniques helped deliver a cohesive message about the creative writing workshop.
